Static QR codes, free and private
Many QR generators make "dynamic" codes that redirect through their servers, and stop working when a trial ends. OZO makes static codes: the link or details are stored in the code itself. They never expire, need no account, and work offline. Everything is generated in your browser, so Wi-Fi passwords and contact details stay on your device.
Ideas for using QR codes
- Restaurants and shops: link to your menu, booking page or reviews.
- Offices and rentals: a Wi-Fi code by the door, so guests join without asking.
- Business cards: a contact code that saves your details straight to someone's phone.
- Invoices and receipts: link to your payment page or website. Add it next to your details on an invoice.
Print checklist
- Make it at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in); larger if people scan from a distance.
- Keep a quiet margin around the code.
- Use the SVG for print, so the edges stay crisp.
- Test-scan with two different phones before printing in bulk.
